Match Preview: In the first match of Group C of COPA AMERICA CENTANERIO 2016, the Caribbean side Jamaica will take on the Latin opponent Venezuela at Sunday night. This is the second time Jamaica Football Team is competing in the COPA tournament and Venezuela would be the fourth opponent of their COPA history. After their three consecutive losing at the last edition of the COPA AMERICA, Jamaica will obviously try to make an impressive journey in this year. On the other side, Venezuela also does not have any better records in this tournament. Despite of having some bitter experiences, the Venezuelan side might be influenced as they managed to grab the third spot of COPA AMERICA 2011 edition. Jamaica Team News: Jamaica might consider their team solidly strong in the defense as they have English Premier League superstars, Crystal Palace’s Adrian Mariappa and champion Leicester’s captain and center back Wes Morgan in their lineup. Midfielder Simon Dawkins have been knocked out from the tournament due to an injury and replaced by Exeter City’s Midfielder Joel Grant. He will be assisted by team captain Randolph Austin and Blackburn Rover’s Lee Williamson. Team Jamaica is probably going to play with two forwards. Giles Barnes and Dever Orgill are expected to take those spots for the team.
